Oregon gives injury update on star linebacker Justin Flowe before Ohio State game
Kayvon Thibodeaux was ruled out earlier on Saturday morning but another big-time Ducks player isn’t going to be suiting up either.
Linebacker Justin Flowe is expected to not play as well due to a right foot injury. He was seen with a boot on his foot walking into the Horseshoe.

Two significant developments from Oregon in pre-game. Both star rush end Kayvon Thibodeaux and freshman LB Justin Flowe aren’t playing. Hard to overstate what big losses these are for the Ducks. Flowe had 14 tackles vs Fresno. KT is a potential No. 1 pick.

This is a monstrous loss for the Ducks as Flowe was one of Oregon’s best players last week against Fresno State. He finished with 14 total tackles (5 solo) and it was the best performance of his career. During the 2020 season, he only had 1 tackle.
It was already going to be hard enough for the Ducks to beat the Buckeyes but now it’ll be even harder with 2 of their best players on defense out. They’ll have to hope that their replacements will be up to the task of trying to help shutdown the Buckeyes offense.
Kickoff for this game will be at Noon ET and it’ll be televised by FOX.
