Mike Weber tends to be fairly active in social media. And when he’s on those platforms, his sense of humor and competitive edge tend to surface through his posts.

Earlier this year, he made a friendly wager with Saquon Barkley and Derrius Guice for the 2017 season. The bet? The running back with the least amount of yards for the season buys dinner.

That’s just one example.

Weber’s sense of humor and competitiveness were on display again this weekend, this time as some youngsters were asking for autographs from Ohio State’s 1,000-yard rusher.

At an All-American Football Camp, a few young attendees sporting Clemson gear wanted to get an autograph from the Ohio State running back. But Weber wasn’t as quick with his pen has he was with Snapchat:

You could understand why Weber wouldn’t be too happy to see those Clemson shirts. In the Fiesta Bowl, the Tigers defeated the Buckeyes 31-0 for a trip to the national championship. Weber had just 24 yards on five carries.

But even though Weber talked a big game on social media, it was all in good fun:

So, don’t worry, Weber just likes to have a little fun on social media. Those kids probably got the shirts signed by one of the B1G’s top running backs.

Well, at least the kid sporting the Ohio State jersey.
