Earlier on Wednesday, Buckeyes freshman quarterback Quinn Ewers signed a massive NIL deal with GTSM and now, some more details have started to come out about it.

It was originally reported that the deal was going to exceed $1M and that ended up being correct. It’s a 3-year deal worth $1.4 million, per the Dallas Morning News’ Joseph Hoyt.

As Hoyt also says in his Twitter thread, GTSM is a marketing company that specializes in autographs with athletes. Ewers also has another NIL deal with Holy Kombucha, which is a beverage company.

Ewers skipped his senior year of high school and enrolled at Ohio STate early as he was trying to be the team’s starting quarterback this season. Even though the job went to CJ Stroud, he still seemed to look good at fall camp before being sidelined towards the end of fall camp.

During the 2021 recruiting class, Ewers was considered not only the top player in Texas but the top quarterback and overall recruit in the country.

The Buckeyes will open their season at Minnesota this Thursday.
