The team being linked to Meyer is Jacksonville, a particularly desirable location for now due to the fact that the Jaguars hold the No. 1 overall pick in the 2021 Draft. Whether or not Jacksonville will meet Meyer’s reported demands remains to be seen, but the reported interest continues to grow.
On Tuesday, Jason La Canfora with CBS Sports reported that Jacksonville is indeed setting up an interview with Meyer and that could happen as early as the end of this week:
For anyone still doubting it, the Jaguars interest in Urban Meyer is beyond real. They are working to set up an interview by the weekend, or early next week, as they move through the GM process.

Meyer has posted a 187-32 record across four college stops, but he has never coached in the NFL as an assistant or head coach. Jacksonville may be interested, but it will be intriguing to see if Meyer can become a successful NFL coach. Stay tuned.
