Patrick Murphy of Bucknuts247 shared the news.

Shaw played in 13 games, including 12 starts, last season, recording 59 tackles, 3 pass breakups and an interception. Shaw stepped into a starting role after Josh Proctor’s injury.

Entering the transfer portal does not bind Shaw to leave OSU, but his scholarship is no longer guaranteed and he can now be contacted by other programs. As a recruit, he was a 3-star prospect out of The Bullis School in Maryland. He picked up 11 scholarship offers, including Maryland, Penn State, Wisconsin and Rutgers. Alex Grinch and Larry Johnson led OSU’s recruitment of Shaw, who verbally pledged on April 28, 2018.
