Ryan Day quietly responded to Jim Harbaugh sidestepping a question about his feelings towards the Ohio State coaching staff on Tuesday.

At the Buckeyes’ weekly press conference Day was asked whether or not he respects Jim Harbaugh. He said that he and the team are staying away from any outside distractions and focused on the team and winning Saturday.

That seems to paint a pretty clear answer to the question, no?

The Buckeyes have lost a pair straight to Michigan in The Game. And this year’s version of the greatest rivalry in college football has a lot on the line.

With the current landscape of the race for the CFP, it seems unlikely that 2 teams from the B1G get into the mix without some serious chaos. That would entail Florida beating Florida State, Washington falling to Washington State then winning the Pac-12 and so on.

The more direct path is right in front of Michigan and Ohio State: Win on Saturday and beat Iowa in the Big Ten Championship game. Whoever does that is guaranteed a spot in the Playoff with an undefeated record and a B1G title under their belt.

The Game kicks off at Noon on FOX from Ann Arbor.
