Ohio State continues to play like the hottest team in the B1G.
The Buckeyes won their sixth-straight game on Saturday thanks to a blowout 78-59 victory over Indiana. That marked win No. 17 for Chris Holtmann’s team, the highest total in the B1G so far this season.
E.J. Liddell ended the game as Ohio State’s leading scorer, getting 19 points on 6-of-12 shooting from the floor. Justice Sueing was the do-it-all guy for the Buckeyes, ending the afternoon with 16 points and 10 rebounds while knocking down 60% of his shots from the floor.
Duane Washington Jr. and C.J. Walker both hit double figures, scoring 12 and 10 respectively.
Trayce Jackson-Davis was the high scorer of the game, getting 23 points and collecting 9 boards in the loss for the Hoosiers. The loss for IU ends a two-game win streak of its own.
Over the course of this win streak, Ohio State has wins over Wisconsin, Penn State, Michigan State, Iowa, Maryland and Indiana. The last loss for the Buckeyes came on Jan. 19 to Purdue.
The Bucks are back in action on Thursday, traveling to Penn State.
Saturday, the NCAA released its current Top 16 seeds for the 2021 NCAA March Madness tournament. Ohio State was on the No. 1 seed line, along with rival and B1G foe Michigan.
