Ohio State is back on top of the B1G recruiting rankings.

Sunday, the Buckeyes received verbal commitments from 3-star wide receiver Bryson Rodgers and 4-star cornerback Dijon Johnson, giving the team a big boost in the 2023 recruiting standings. So much, in fact, that Ohio State is back atop the B1G.

Ohio State now sits No. 1 in the B1G in the 2023 recruiting rankings and is No. 2 nationally. Currently, Texas Tech owns the country’s top-ranked class with 15 verbal pledges. The Buckeyes currently have 9.

The Buckeyes were previously ranked No. 7 nationally in the rankings, per 247Sports composite. They didn’t have to make a far climb to No. 1, as they sat only behind Penn State, which owns the country’s No. 6 class.

A Wharton product out of Tampa, Florida, Johnson is listed at 6-1, 190 pounds and rated 4-stars, the No. 29 cornerback, No. 47 Sunshine State product and No. 265 prospect overall nationally in the class of 2023 on the 247Sports composite. Johnson has picked up 26 scholarship offers during his recruitment, including Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, Michigan State, Nebraska, Penn State and Rutgers.

Rodgers is listed at 6-2, 170 pounds and rated 3-stars, the No. 48 wide receiver, No. 73 Sunshine State recruit and No. 367 prospect overall nationally in the class of 2023 on the 247Sports composite. During his recruitment, Rodgers has picked up 28 scholarship offers, including Maryland, Michigan, Michigan State, Penn State and Rutgers.
