While former Ohio State coach Urban Meyer is reportedly entertaining interest from NFL teams, he’s also staying focused on his duties as analyst for FOX Sports.

Meyer gave his prediction on FOX Sports’ CFB Playoff Preview this week.

Unsurprisingly, he’s going with his former team:

“I’m going to pick the Buckeyes here,” Meyer said via 247Sports. “I think it’s going to be 38-35, Ohio State will come up with those four to five stops and this will be one of the classic National Championship games in recent history.”

Meyer also gave his projection for how he thinks the game will play out.

“I think there are two terrific offenses, obviously, Alabama versus Ohio State,” Meyer said. “I’m going to pick the defenses. To win a game like this, you have to stop these great offenses four to five times. I said that when Florida played Alabama for the SEC Championship.”

That 38-35 score projection is slightly lower than the betting odds. That would be a total of 73, and the consensus over/under as of Saturday morning is around 75.

Kick off is on Jan. 11 at 8 p.m. ET.
