Dwayne Haskins is one of seemingly many quarterbacks on the Washington Redskins’ roster. He has played in three games so far during his rookie season.

The former Ohio State Buckeye has thrown zero touchdowns and four interceptions in 2019. The Redskins are 1-8 this season.

Nothing seems to be working.

Despite those facts, on Monday, the team announced its starting QB for the remainder of the year:

And, there you have it. Haskins no longer has to wonder as to whether or not he will be starting (or playing) in a game going forward. This is big for the former first round pick.

Sure, you have to be able to play if you want to succeed. But, you also have to have the right mindset. You have to be comfortable. You have to have continuity.

Haskins now has consistency going forward at least.
