According to one report, at least the players in Washington are gearing up for Dwayne Haskins to get his first NFL start this week.
According to Craig Hoffman, Washington’s beat reporter with 106.7 The Fan, multiple players are preparing as if Haskins will be the starting quarterback for this week’s game against the Buffalo Bills. Haskins has appeared in two games but has yet to start.

Haskins has been viewed as Washington’s QB for the future after the team made him a first-round pick in this year’s draft. However, he has been biding his time as the backup.
Haskins has not been great in limited action, completing just 12 of 22 passes while throwing four picks. It should be noted that Washington has also been a mess with a current record of 1-7.
With the season not going anywhere, it sure looks like it is time for Washington to begin preparing for next season and getting Haskins meaningful reps whenever possible. As of now, it sounds like that could begin this weekend.
Multiple #Redskins players certainly sounded like Dwayne Haskins will be making his first start on Sunday. Could just be an indication of what they saw in practice today (which could completely change tomorrow), but they’re preparing as if that’s happening.
