Mike Weber is having a career day against a pretty good Michigan State defense.

It started with a 47-yard touchdown in the first quarter to give Ohio State and early 7-0 lead over the Spartans in Columbus. The offensive line created a sizeable hole and Weber walked into the end zone untouched.

Later in the game, Weber and the offensive line did it again, this time from nearly twice the distance.

In the second quarter, Ohio State’s O-line opened another gap, creating a nice lane for Weber to run through. Once the Buckeye back it the hole, he was uncatchable. For the second time, he hit pay dirt without a being touched.

That score gave Ohio State a 35-0 lead over the Spartans.

Weber had 161 yards and two touchdowns in the first half, which is a career high for the sophomore running back.
