Ezekiel Elliott was the talk of college football following Saturday’s loss to Michigan State.

It wasn’t because of anything Elliott did on the field, more about what he didn’t do. The Ohio State tailback only received two second-half carries and voiced his frustrations about the coaching staff following the loss.

Elliott even said that he “definitely wasn’t coming back next year.”

Well, he had a different tone on Monday. He delivered this apology via Twitter.

It appears that it was just an isolated incident and it remains to be seen whether or not it will hurt Elliott’s draft stock.
