Penn State is riding high heading into the second half of the season!

Coming off of a tough road win over Iowa, James Franklin and company have to be feeling good through the first seven weeks of the season. A 6-0 record is great, but there is no time to rest.

Penn State is entering a crucial five-game stretch that will likely play a key role in deciding the B1G East division. Three of those games will be on the road, but the next one up is a  home game against Michigan.

While the Wolverines have rebounded from an early loss to Wisconsin, the Nittany Lions have looked stronger to this point. Additionally, they will get the benefit of playing in Happy Valley during a White Out in Week 8.

Entering the week of preparation, ESPN’s FPI has updated Penn State’s odds the rest of the way. While some tough games remain, the Nittany Lions will be favored in every game but one. That game against Ohio State currently looks like it will decide the B1G East race.
