Penn State players continue James Franklin's debate on Thanksgiving food options
Penn State players have followed the lead of James Franklin and provided a spirited debate regarding some of the popular food options available on Thanksgiving.
During his weekly press conference, Franklin went around the media contingent and grilled the members on which options they preferred on Thanksgiving Day. In Penn State’s latest “practice cam,” players were asked to choose between sweet potato pie vs. pumpkin pie, collared greens vs. green beans, cornbread vs. dinner roll, and roasted turkey vs. deep-fried turkey.

Here is glimpse at some of the debate between the Nittany Lions:
“This is the only right combo. We got sweet potatoes. (Easy). Collared greens. (Easy). Cornbread (Duh). Baked. (Duh). Roasted!”
“I need sweet potato pie, I need the collared greens, I need the cornbread, I need the baked mac-n-cheese and I need the deep-fried turkey.”
“We gonna go sweet potato, collared greens, cornbread. We gonna go baked, and then deep fried.”
“I like sweet potato for sure — you’re crazy.”
“Oh, this is easy!”
