Penn State is losing a special group of seniors this season, but the Nittany Lions sent them off in style with a win over Maryland.

James Franklin’s squad improved to 9-3 on the season while QB Trace McSorley added to his already legendary resume in the victory. McSorley and company will get a bowl game to add to their list of accomplishments, and it will be hard for another group to eclipse everything this group has done.

Led by McSorley, the Nittany Lions won 11 games in back-to-back years from 2016-17. That stretch included a gut-wrenching loss in the Rose Bowl but a win in the Fiesta Bowl after last season.

Following the final home game of their careers, multiple members of the senior class were a bit emotional leaving Beaver Stadium for the final time:

Good luck to all the Penn State seniors as they move on to the next stage in life.
