Brady Allen, Purdue QB and former 4-star prospect, reportedly withdraws from transfer portal
Brady Allen was a 4-star quarterback and key in-state prospect when he arrived at Purdue in the 2022 recruiting class. After entering the transfer portal during the coaching transition for the Boilermakers, Allen appears to be on his way out of the portal and staying in West Lafayette.
According to Tom Dienhart with On3.com, Allen has withdrawn from the portal after nearly two weeks in the system. Dienhart reports it was believed that Allen had a myriad of suitors in the portal, but he is electing to stay at Purdue.

It is not unusual for some players to test the transfer portal during coaching changes, but getting Allen to remain with the program is a big win for new head coach Ryan Walters. Allen was the No. 5 player out of Indiana in 2022 and the highest-rated piece of Jeff Brohm’s 2022 recruiting class.
Now, Purdue heads into 2023 with Allen in tow, along with transfer QB Hudson Card out of Texas. With Aidan O’Connell off to the NFL, that is some nice early depth for Walters and the Boilermakers.
