Here’s what Jeff Brohm said following Purdue’s huge upset of Michigan State

Purdue has done it again, shocking another top-5 team in incredible fashion. This time, Mel Tucker’s No. 3 Michigan State squad was the victim as the perfect season of the Spartans ended in West Lafayette.
Aidan O’Connell threw for over 500 yards with 200+ of those going to superstar receiver David Bell. Bell set a Purdue record in the win while also netting his 2nd 200-yard game of the season. His other such game came in the upset of then-No. 2 Iowa.
The win also pushed Purdue to 6-3 overall (4-2 in the B1G) and sets up an incredible finish to the season. The Boilermakers are now bowl eligible, but they are also tied for first place in the B1G West.
With Minnesota’s loss to Illinois, the Gophers are tied with Purdue and Wisconsin at 4-2 in conference play. Iowa can also join that trio at 4-2 with a win over Northwestern.
Here’s a look at what head coach Jeff Brohm had to say after the win, including his note to some media pundits that he heard Saturday morning:
