Jeff Brohm after Purdue's 34-13 loss to TCU: 'Dismal performance by our team'
There’s no other way to put it: Purdue played very poorly against TCU Saturday night.
The Horned Frogs ran up and down the field on the Boilermakers’ defense, amassing 346 yards on the ground. If TCU does that, what will teams like Wisconsin, Ohio State, Penn State and other Big Ten teams do?
Purdue has to get better not only defending the run, but running the ball itself.
After the game, coach Jeff Brohm was honest:
Brohm: Dismal performance by our team. It's something that will hurt us and it should.

#Purdue coach Jeff Brohm: ‘No running game again, which we have to get fixed.'

Purdue has to get better at running the football and the team played bad. Again, no other way to put it. Brohm knows this, but does he have the time and team to change things around?
It should be noted that the Boilermakers didn’t have starting quarterback Elijah Sindelar in this game. That obviously hurt. But does having Sindelar back for the future solve everything?
