Jeff Brohm took full responsibility for Purdue’s struggles with penalties Saturday against Syracuse, but that didn’t stop him from sending a few plays to the conference for review.

In total, there were 22 penalties called Saturday – 13 of which were on the Boilermakers for 178 total yards.

Purdue has gone the opposite direction since leading Penn State late in the fourth quarter of their Week 1 bout. The Boilermakers couldn’t hold on then and couldn’t hold on Week 3 against Syracuse.

They look to improve to 2-2 Saturday against FAU. As for the plays he sent over, its not likely to amount to much. As it never does.
