Purdue lands pledge from former Indiana starting OL
Purdue bolstered its offensive line with a transfer commitment from its rival Indiana in Joshua Sales Jr. on Thursday.
Sales bring a lot of experience to the Purdue offensive line. He played in 16 games over the last 3 seasons for the Hoosiers.
The Boilermakers have secured transfer commitments from former Ball State offensive tackle Corey Stewart and New Mexico OL transfer DJ Wingfield recently. Former Notre Dame OT Joey Tanona is also heading to Purdue via the portal.

Ryan Walters couldn’t get Purdue to a bowl game in his 1st season in West Lafayette. Purdue missed out on bowl season after winning 4 games. However, Walters did keep the win streak alive against Indiana. Purdue beat Indiana 35-31 this year, making it 3 consecutive wins against the Hoosiers.
There is some help on the OL on the way from the 2024 class as well. Purdue has 3-star signees such as Jaden Ball, Rod Green, John Randle Jr., Max Parrott, Jordan King, and Jaekwon Bouldin in Walters’ 2024 class.
