Purdue got its spring season started early this year, opening up practices on Friday. It was the first practice of the spring period, and the Boilermakers will have 34 days to complete the final 14 practices.

A schedule outlining Purdue’s complete practice schedule for the spring period was released on Friday. The Boilers will be hitting the field on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays this spring, as well as squeezing in a pair of Saturdays.

Below is the complete schedule:

On Thursday, head coach Jeff Brohm met with the media to talk briefly about the outlook for the spring season, the team’s new focus defensively, staff and personnel changes and injury news. Brohm is about to embark on his fifth season as the leader in West Lafayette.

Purdue is coming off a 2-4 season in 2020. The Boilers have posted losing records in back-to-back seasons after making consecutive bowl appearances in Brohm’s first two years with the program.
