We’re seeing it more and more each year: college football players trying to transfer to other programs. Today’s game of college football is different than what it was even five years ago.

Nowadays, it seems as though players leave one school for another more than ever.

On Thursday, Purdue certainly felt this.

Earlier on Thursday, Boilermakers defensive back Tyler Hamilton made it known that he wanted to leave the program. Later that day, it became news that Alex Criddle, an offensive guard/defensive tackle, will also be leaving Purdue:

Criddle came to Purdue as a defensive tackle and made the switch to guard earlier this season. Last year, Criddle made five tackles while on the defensive line.
