He battled cancer and showed incredible strength with a positive attitude through it all. Trent passed away earlier this year.
Prior to his passing, he was able to build not only relationships, but legitimate friendships with some of the Boilermaker players and coaches. One of those players was superstar wide receiver Rondale Moore.
After Purdue’s 42-24 win over Vanderbilt on Saturday, Moore talked about Trent, who would have turned 21-years-old on Saturday:
Rondale Moore on Tyler Trent: "We got to build a relationship before he passed away … he was a great friend of mine and we ended up texting every day and we ended up building a really good friendship. He is a fighter and the definition of a Boilermaker." @theTylerTrent
