Cam Spencer began his career at Loyola-Maryland before transferring to Rutgers. After one season with the Scarlet Knights, Spencer announced his decision to re-enter the portal ahead of the 2023-24 season.

Now, Spencer is reportedly hearing from multiple major programs in the portal, including a key B1G program. According to Adam Zagoria and Brian Fonseca with NJ.com, Spencer has heard from Mike Woodson’s Indiana program in the portal.

Defending national champ UConn, Kentucky, Georgetown, Miami and Texas are other top-tier schools reportedly in contact at this point. Spencer is a graduate transfer with one year of eligibility wherever he winds up.

Spencer started all 34 games a season ago for Rutgers, tying for the team lead with 13.2 points per game. He was the team’s leading 3-point shooter, averaging 2.1 made 3’s per game and shooting 43% from behind the arc.

Spencer also averaged 3.8 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 2 steals for the Scarlet Knights while playing 31.5 minutes per game.
