Rutgers announces depth chart before 2020 season opener against Michigan State
The Scarlet Knights have released their first depth chart of the 2020 campaign prior to its opener vs Michigan State on Saturday.
However, one important part of the depth chart may leave some fans wanting more information as coach Greg Schiano declined to name a starting quarterback. Instead, Schiano left an ‘OR’ between quarterbacks Artur Sitkowski and Noah Vedral.

“This is a really, really good group,” Schiano told reporters on Monday. “They help each other. They’re competing.
“It’s a reason it’s Art and Noah as the ‘or’ because they’ve kind of established themselves as the top two, but it’s not a huge drop off.”
Sitkowski has appeared in 14 games for the Scarlet Knights, completing 52.2 percent of his passes for 1,587 yards, five touchdowns and 20 interceptions. Vedral, who previously played for UCF and Nebraska, completed 65.4 percent of his passes (34-of-52) in limited action for the Cornhuskers last season.
Overall, the two-deep features experience all over the field with upperclassmen slated to start at every position.
Earlier today, it was reported that Rutgers will be without former 3-star DL recruit Devin Baldwin as he has entered the transfer portal. He does not appear on the depth chart above.
Rutgers’ season-opening clash with Michigan State is scheduled for a 12 p.m. kickoff. The game will be broadcast on Big Ten Network.
