Take a sigh of relief, Rutgers fans.

Week 2 didn’t expand upon what the Scarlet Knights showed as after a 35-7 season opening win over Texas State, Ohio State proved its dominance by beating Rutgers 52-3. Over the last few years, it hasn’t been pretty against the Buckeyes.

In the game this past Saturday, freshman QB Artur Sitkowski got knocked around quite a bit — as do most QBs facing Ohio State.

Some were wondering on what Sitkowski’s condition would be going into Week 3, as he only got to throw the ball 18 times. Backup Giovanni Rescigno came in and threw 12 balls, completing 5 of them while throwing a pick.

On Monday, coach Chris Ash gave positive news to Scarlet Knights fans:

Rutgers is set to travel to face Kansas for a noon start time on Saturday. The game will be televised on FSN.
