Yesterday, a report came out that Rutgers had named its starting quarterback for the 2019 season.

The winner of the job?

Again, reportedly, it was McLane Carter — a Texas Tech graduate transfer.

But, what about the rest of the starting positions? Who will be starting in Week 1 for Rutgers in the game against UMass?

On Friday, the team released its first official depth chart:

Here is Rutgers’ two-deep and there are many things to point at. The most interesting, however, may be at the QB position. As stated above, a report came out a day ago that the QB position has been decided.

On this depth chart, Artur Sitkowski -OR- McLane Carter is the starter.

That doesn’t sound definitive.

Regardless, we’ll find out exactly who starts at 7:15 p.m. ET on Friday against UMass. The game will be televised on BTN.
