Wisconsin is looking to get back to .500 on Saturday when Army comes to Madison.

It’s been a struggle for the Badgers through 5 games as they’re 2-3 and have had a lot of problems on offense. Graham Mertz has just a 2 touchdown pass to 7 interception ratio while throwing for 781 yards.

They’ve been one-dimensional, which is something that wasn’t expected of the Badgers coming into this season. For reference, Mertz finished with 9 touchdown passes and 5 interceptions last season with 1,238 yards.

ESPN’s FPI has the Badgers as a heavy favorite against 4-1 Army this weekend, despite the Black Knights having that better record. According to the FPI, the Badgers have a 79.8% chance of coming away with the victory.

This game could be closer than the FPI thinks though as Army is 6-2 against the spread in their last 8 games against Power 5 competition.

It may be low-scoring, but if it gets the Badgers back on track, that’s all their fanbase can ask for.

Kickoff will be at 8 p.m. ET on Saturday night and it’ll be televised by the B1G Network.
