Joel Klatt sees 'a bit more balanced' Wisconsin team heading into B1G Championship
Wisconsin is headed into a rematch against Ohio State after losing in blowout fashion the first time they faced off this season.
In that first game, the Buckeyes terrorized Wisconsin’s offense. Jonathan Taylor was held under 100 yards rushing while quarterback Jack Coan was under siege all game long.
The odds are understandably against the Badgers in Saturday’s game. However, FOX analyst Joel Klatt does believe Wisconsin is playing much more balanced on the offensive side of the ball heading into the rematch.
“I think they’re a bit more balanced, I think last week was evidence of that,” said Klatt during an interview for Wisconsin Football. “They don’t have to have Jonathan Taylor go off for 200 yards in order to be really successful offensively. I think last week was a huge step in that direction. Jack (Coan) threw the ball so well (against Minnesota).”
Obviously, it’s going to take everything clicking on both sides of the ball for Wisconsin to pull it off. At least the offense is finding its stride in time for the matchup.
Here’s Klatt’s full breakdown of the game:
We caught up with @JoelKlatt at practice today!
He sees a lot of confidence in this squad and talks about why we're better than the last time we saw OSU and why @JayT23 should be in New York next week. #JT23 || #OnWisconsin pic.twitter.com/9yEnoNscRy
