Jonathan Taylor is just one of many incredible backs to put on a Wisconsin uniform.
Some may take him for granted because of that, but the numbers Taylor has put up so far in his Badger career are eye-popping. He’s played in 32 games and has rushed for 100-plus in 27 of them. He ran for 2,194 yards as a sophomore.

There are a plenty of unbelievable statistics out there as it is, but now, five games into his junior season, Taylor is No. 3 on Wisconsin’s all-time rushing list, passing Melvin Gordon on Saturday against Kent State:
Just like that, @JayT23 passes @Melvingordon25 for 3rd on #Badgers' all-time rushing list…
1. Dayne – 7,125
2. Ball – 5,140
3. Taylor – 4,916
4. Gordon – 4,915#JT23 || #OnWisconsin— Brian Mason (@Brian_Mason) October 5, 2019
Taylor passed Gordon on this run in the third quarter to make it not only a 35-0 game, but it was also his fifth touchdown of the afternoon:
If you're counting at home, that's five TDs on the day for @JayT23.

Again, Taylor has been ridiculous since he entered Madison and it looks as though there is no stopping him.
The only thing that might keep him from becoming the Badgers’ No. 1 all-time rusher is the NFL calling his name once this season comes to a close.
