Noah Burks comes up with clutch pick-6 against Northwestern
Jonathan Taylor may have started the scoring for the Badgers, but it has been the defense putting the game away late against Northwestern!
Wisconsin started the game against the Wildcats much like it started the first three of the season: with a touchdown scored by Taylor. He has scored on the opening drive of all four games this season.

Unfortunately, the offense has not managed much else since then. Northwestern’s defense has done a good job of limiting Jack Coan and company, but it was the Wildcat offense that came up with some key mistakes.
One of those was a fourth-quarter pass by quarterback Aidan Smith. He was hit as he threw with virtually no hopes of his pass finding a receiver. Instead, Wisconsin’s Noah Burks grabbed the errant throw and returned it 68 yards for the score.
It was the second score for Wisconsin’s defense today:
