No official word has been given, but it is being reported that Miami QB N’Kosi Perry may face suspension for the New Era Pinstripe Bowl against Wisconsin.

Perry has appeared in 10 games this season, throwing for 1,089 yards and 13 TDs with five interceptions. He has rushed for another 158 yards.

According to The Miami Hurricane, the student newspaper for the university, it is a sexually-explicit video that has put Perry’s status in jeopardy. The video was originally shared via Perry’s Snapchat account in September, but a screen recording of it recirculated in late November:

The video appears to show two nude people having sex. It was posted on Perry’s Snapchat within 15 hours after the Hurricanes’ 49-24 victory over the Toledo Rockets on Sept. 15. However, a screen recording of his Snapchat story from that day resurfaced among the Miami student body in late November.

The report went on to say that a UM spokesperson would only confirm that they were aware of the video and that it has been removed from the account. It has not been confirmed if Perry is indeed one of the individuals in the video.

Susan Miller Degnan reported that Perry did travel with the team to New York. However, David Lake with 247 Sports reported there is a “rumor” that Perry may still be suspended for the game against the Badgers.

Wisconsin fans already know that Jack Coan will start for the Badgers in the bowl game. They will just have to wait and see who starts on the other side for the Hurricanes.
