In the 2022 and 2024 college football seasons, Wisconsin was supposed to play against Hawaii.

Well, reportedly, that is no longer the case. According to FBschedules.com, the Badgers and Rainbow Warriors have mutually agreed to cancel and no longer play those games. The first game of the series was played in 2015 and that will be the only game played between the two teams.

Per the contract of the termination agreement, “…both Wisconsin and Hawaii are free to arrange games with other institutions in 2022 and 2024 with no obligation to the other party.”

Also, in 2024, Wisconsin made a scheduling change. The Badgers were supposed to face South Dakota the week after playing Alabama. Instead, that game has been moved to the week before.

Wisconsin will now have a bye week after Alabama, giving the team an extra week before starting Big Ten play, which will be at Michigan.
