As if the new of losing linebacker Jack Cichy wasn’t bad enough for Wisconsin on Thursday, the Badgers also lost an in-state three-star commit later that day.

Wisconsin native Trent Ingalls, a three-star safety and one of the first commitments of Wisconsin’s 2018 recruiting class,  is no longer committed to the Badgers and won’t likely pursue a college football career. The news was reported from Scout.com’s Badger Nation.

Ingalls picked Wisconsin over offers from other B1G schools like Iowa, Michigan State, Minnesota, Northwestern and Purdue.

The Badgers are now down to 18 commits for its 2018 class. Wisconsin’s class is ranked No. 31 nationally and seventh in the B1G.
