Trech Kekahuna used to be committed to Wisconsin football. He has since de-committed and reopened his recruitment.

It looks like Kakuna is still considering the Badgers now that Jim Leonhard is at the helm. Kekahuna is a 3-star WR from the 2023 class per the 247Sports Composite. 247Sports has Kekahuna as the 9th-best recruit from his home state of Nevada.

Along with Wisconsin, Kekahuna is considering Hawaii, Oregon, Incarnate Word, Arizona, Utah, Washington State, and Arizona State.

Wisconsin has 13 commits, with all of them being 3-star commitments. The Badgers currently have the 13th-ranked 2023 class among B1G schools.

Leonhard has recruits maybe reconsidering their options with Wisconsin a win away from the bowl season at 5-4. Wisconsin recently added 3-star QB Cole LaCrue from Broomfield, Colorado. Perhaps Leonhard can convince Kekahuna to give Wisconsin another shot.

Kekahuna attends Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas, Nevada. Here’s a highlight clip from his hudl page:
