UW-Milwaukee basketball wears shirts, gives wristbands to Wisconsin honoring assistant coach Howard Moore
Back in May of this year, Wisconsin basketball assistant Howard Moore was involved in a tragic car accident involving his wife, daughter and son.
His wife and daughter died due to the accident, which occurred because of a driver going the wrong way. He and his 13-year-old son survived.
Moore has had medical issues since then and is not coaching the Badgers this season.

On Saturday afternoon, prior to the UW-Milwaukee-Wisconsin game tipping off, UW-M honored Moore by wearing pre-game shirts and wristbands:
Do Moore. Be Moore. 4 Moore.
Thank You, @MKE_MBB 👏
Today, Pat Baldwin and Milwaukee are wearing special warmup shirts to recognize Howard Moore and his family. They also had wristbands made, which they will exchange with the Badgers pregame. #4Moore pic.twitter.com/4JNdXwhzse

This is an awesome act from the in-state school. The Badgers and Panthers may not be friends on the court, but that doesn’t mean that the two schools can’t be friendly and care for one another off of it.
What happened back in May was horrific, and the act by UW-Milwaukee is certainly a classy one. Hats off to the Panthers.
