After the Wisconsin Badgers much needed victory over Army, head coach Paul Chryst shared a few thoughts about the win.

The Badgers got a big game out of running back Braelon Allen who had 108 yards and 1 touchdown, however, Allen didn’t touch the ball in the third quarter which was strange considering how successful he had been in the game so far.

Chryst said it was mainly due to the lack of plays the Badgers had, which was 9. As most college football fans know, Army is a running team and a lot of their drives can take up almost a whole quarter.

Chryst also explained why he didn’t go for two when the Badgers took a 19-7 lead. Chryst said he thought about it but the most important thing at the time was just getting the points.

The coach ended the night by talking about what makes linebacker Leo Chenal so special.

“What allows him to be successful — he’s obviously talented and loves the game. Leo’s a guy that every day that he’s at practice, he’s all-in. Certainly talented, that’s a good combination.”
