Wisconsin is adding a pair of ex-UCLA players to the fold on Tuesday.

The first former Bruin to join the Badgers came in the form of defensive back Jay Shaw. Shaw was a starter for UCLA in 2021 with 27 tackles, 2 interceptions, and 4 passes defended.

Later Tuesday evening, wide receiver Keontez Lewis announced via Twitter that he would also be joining Wisconsin.

Lewis was a true freshman member of UCLA’s class of 2021. He was a 3-star WR for the cycle out of East St. Louis, Illinois and the No. 74 WR nationally for 2021.

Listed at 6-foot-3 and 197 lbs., Lewis will be an interesting player to watch in Madison. At the very least, he will play alongside one familiar face in Shaw from their time in UCLA.
