It sounds like Wisconsin has a star in the making with this young nose tackle.
Keeanu Benton is a freshman defensive lineman who picked the Badgers as an in-state recruit. Benton was the No. 5 player out of Wisconsin for 2019, and he is already looking good in a Badgers uniform.

Defensive coordinator Jim Leonhard highlighted Benton as one of the young Badgers defenders who impressed in the season opener. According to Leonhard, Benton’s game film produced a simple, one-word response with how well he played.
Jeff Potrykus with The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel shared Leonhard’s comments:
Minor note from our chat today with #Badgers DC Jim Leonhard. He cited several young guys who flashed in opener, including NT Keeanu Benton: "You put on his first four or five clips and you kind of go: 'Wow.'"

Hopefully, Benton continues to develop and play well for Wisconsin’s defensive front. The Badgers get back in action Saturday against Central Michigan. Kickoff is set for 3:30 pm EST on BTN.
