Wisconsin is dealing with some more injuries at another position following Thursday’s spring practice. It looks like the safeties are battling injuries now too.
Jeff Potrykus of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported that Wisconsin is now down to just 4 safeties after safeties Trevian Blaylock and Preston Zachman have sustained injuries. Blaylock recently sustained a knee injury on Tuesday at practice, and missed out on practice at Thursday. Zachman was seen on crutches at practice.
Potrykus tweeted out the injury updates from his Twitter account.
That’s a wrap on #Badgers‘ eighth practice. With Travian Blaylock (right knee/leg) + Preston Zachman (crutches) out, UW has 4 safeties: John Torchio, Hunter Wohler, walk-on Owen Arnett + transfer Bryce Carey. CBs Alexander Smith + Avyonne Jones got a few snaps at S.
