The 2018 college football season was made up of many games. In the Big Ten West division, the champion didn’t just win it based on one game.

Northwestern ran away with the division a year ago with its 8-1 record, while Wisconsin and Purdue finished tied for second at 5-4. That said, Wisconsin was a perfect 12-0 going into the Big Ten Championship two seasons ago.

The Badgers lost the title of Big Ten West division champion to the Wildcats.  They took it from the Badgers fair and square, as Northwestern defeated Wisconsin 31-17 in Evanston.

This year, however, things appear to be different. Wisconsin looks like it is the favorite in the west once again and the Badgers are hosting the Wildcats this time around.
