ESPN’s Pete Thamel has continued his reporting on the details surrounding Michigan in the middle of the ongoing sign-stealing investigation by the NCAA.

Over the weekend, analyst Connor Stalions resigned from his post on Jim Harbaugh’s staff. In his resignation announcement, Stalions indicated he was never directed he was never told to break any rules during his time with the program.

As teams embark on the start of Week 11, it does not appear any immediate action from the B1G is imminent. According to Thamel’s Monday morning report, action from the Big Ten is unlikely in the next 48 hours. Thamel also reports a legal battle is expected to ensue if there is “a punitive suspension” of Harbaugh handed down by the B1G.

Following a dominant win over Purdue, Harbaugh continued to reiterate the strength of his team and said the Wolverines have 20-23 players that will be “playing on Sundays next year.” He even called the questions of Michigan’s players “practically a priceless gift” in the middle of the season.
