Kentucky officially announces addition of 2 former B1G players

The Kentucky Wildcats have worked the transfer portal this offseason, drawing a couple of players out of the B1G in the process.

Early in the offseason, it was the decision of former Nebraska star Wan’Dale Robinson that drew headlines. Robinson made the decision to transfer closer to home due to some health concerns in his family and should be an impact player for the Wildcats.

On Tuesday, Kentucky formally introduced two new transfer additions out of the B1G. Those players are ex-Penn State quarterback Will Levis and ex-Michigan State wide receiver Tre’Von Morgan. Check it out:

Levis appeared in action in 2019 and 2020, mostly as a backup to Sean Clifford. He did throw for 644 yards on 59.8% passing while rushing for 473 yards and six touchdowns.

Morgan was a member of the 2019 recruiting class. The 6-foot-7 receiver caught two passes for 46 yards and a touchdown in 2020. Morgan will also join ex-Spartans linebacker Luke Fulton with the Wildcats.

According to Kentucky’s release, Levis is on track to graduate in May and will be immediately eligible with three years of eligibility. Morgan is expected to sit out the 2021 season due to current transfer rules and will have four years of eligibility remaining.
