Aidan Hutchinson and Kerby Joseph receive jersey numbers from Detroit Lions

The Detroit Lions released the jersey numbers for all of their 2022 rookies. Former Michigan DE Aidan Hutchinson and former Illinois S Kerby Joseph got their numbers.
Hutchinson will wear the same number that he wore at Ann Arbor, as the Lions gave him No. 97. Hutchinson signed his 4-year $35.7 million rookie deal with the team on Monday. Joseph soon followed by signing his rookie contract on Thursday. Joseph will not be wearing the same No. 25 he wore at Illinois, as he’ll be No. 31 for the Lions.

Hutchinson was taken with the No. 2 overall pick, while Joseph was selected by the Lions at pick No. 97 in the 3rd round.
