Joel Klatt is back with another edition of his personal top-10 list coming out of the Week 8 results across college football. He remains high on the B1G, including the top two teams in the conference entering Week 9.

At the top of his list, Klatt had Michigan No. 1 after a dominant 49-0 win over Michigan State. The Wolverines have been on an unprecedented stretch of dominance to start the season and hit their bye week with an 8-0 record. Jim Harbaugh’s team is also the current betting favorite to win the national title.

At No. 2, Klatt went with Ohio State after another top-10 win for the Buckeyes. Ohio State shut down Penn State with a 20-12 win and now has an inside track to The Game provided the Buckeyes do not slip up.

Florida State and Georgia rounded out Klatt’s top 4 with Oklahoma and Washington the first teams on the outside of the current College Football Playoff field. Penn State remained in Klatt’s top 10 at No. 10.

Here is his updated list:

In Week 9, Michigan will be idle with a bye week before hitting the November stretch of the schedule. Meanwhile, Ohio State must hit the road and travel to Madison to face Wisconsin this weekend.
