It took about a month and a half, but Urban Meyer finally has his 1st career win as an NFL head coach.

His Jacksonville Jaguars held on to beat the Miami Dolphins 23-20 as the team snapped a 20-game losing streak.

Coming into this matchup, the Jaguars had made 0 field goals on the season but made 2 in the 4th quarter to win the game. 1 of them was a 54-yarder from Matthew Wright to tie the game when it looked like it was about to be no good.

Wright then made the game-winner from 53 yards out with no time left to get Meyer his first NFL win.

Quarterback Trevor Lawrence finished with 319 yards passing and 1 touchdown pass. Receiver Marvin Jones caught Lawrence’s lone touchdown pass while running back James Robinson finished with 73 yards rushing and a touchdown on 17 carries.

Jacksonville’s next game will be against Seattle on Halloween.
