The Hoosiers now join the growing ranks of teams that have announced plans for a full capacity showing in 2021. Rutgers and Penn State were some of the most recent B1G teams to announce stadiums would host full capacity this season. Ohio State AD Gene Smith announced at the start of June that the Buckeyes are also hoping to be at full capacity come fall.
Playing at home is a big deal for all athletes but especially for college athletes playing in front of friends and family.
Competitively, Memorial Stadium has also been kind to the Hoosiers under Tom Allen. Indiana has gone 14-7 overall since the start of 2019, but the team is an impressive 7-2 at home. That stretch includes home victories over Penn State, Michigan, and Northwestern.
