Undefeated Maryland will have a huge test when the Terrapins host No. 5 Iowa in Week 5. Maryland is coming off a 37-16 victory vs. visiting Kent State.

Maryland unveiled its uniform combo ahead of the massive conference clash and it’s going to be a blackout:

In his press conference on Sept. 29, Maryland coach Mike Locksley was effusive in his praise for Iowa, particularly its defense and rushing offense. Iowa most recently defeated Colorado State 24-14.

Iowa running back Tyler Goodson has rushed for 364 yards and five touchdowns this season, sparking comments from his position coach about his pro prospects. The dominant Iowa defense hasn’t allowed over 17 points this season.

Maryland quarterback Taulia Tagovailoa is off to an excellent start this season, amassing 1,340 yards and 10 touchdowns with one interception. The high-powered Maryland offense is averaging 37.3 points per game.

Maryland-Iowa is slated for Oct. 1 (8 p.m. EST) and will be televised on FS1. Maryland will also sport special helmet decals for mental health awareness for the primetime matchup.
