Jim Harbaugh not a finalist for two NFL coaching vacancies, per report
While nothing has been finalized, it sounds like Michigan fans might be able to take a deep breath. At least two of the organizations reportedly interested in Jim Harbaugh appear to have moved on to other candidates.
Monday morning, NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport reported that the Las Vegas Raiders have agreed to terms with Josh McDaniels to be the next head coach of the organization. It was reported earlier this month that the franchise might have some interest in the Michigan head coach.
Additionally, Rapoport reported that the Minnesota Vikings have three finalists for their vacancy. Those names are Kevin O’Connell, Raheem Morris and DeMeco Ryans. On Saturday, Pro Football Talk reported that the Vikings had a conversation with Harbaugh.

So, at least two organizations have moved on from Harbaugh. However, there’s still reports that the Miami Dolphins have interest.
Per Armando Salguero of Outkick, the Dolphins could potentially make a pitch for Harbaugh to return to the NFL. According to the report, there’s some interest on Harbaugh’s side to leave Ann Arbor for the pros.
A decision from both sides is likely coming in the near future. It’s something to keep an eye on in Ann Arbor.
